Undergraduate research in the Physics Department focused on supporting the study and development of nanoelectrode arrays using multi-walled carbon nanotubes.
Laboratory of Implantable Microsystem Research. My research focused on advancing 3D-printed implantable biosensors designed for real-time biomarker monitoring.
Folch Lab. I am developing real-time, aptamer-based biosensors to monitor drug responses in tumor tissues and designing microfluidic platforms to preserve microvascular networks within these tissues.

I lead a research program focused on developing real-time electrochemical biosensors for early cancer detection, continuous health monitoring, and dynamic disease modeling. My lab engineers aptamer-based sensors for hormones, ctDNA, and protein biomarkers, integrating them into wearable/implantable devices, as well as organ-on-chip platforms, to enable the longitudinal tracking of physiological and disease-related signals. Our goal is to improve diagnostic precision, guide personalized treatment decisions, and increase access to next-generation health technologies, with a special emphasis on women’s health and oncology.
